Vintage 1943 Gregory & Read Canvas Leggings Gaiters Khaki WW2 US Military Pair

Vintage 1943 U.S. military canvas leggings manufactured by Gregory & Read Co.

Khaki cotton canvas construction with rows of blackened metal eyelets and lace hooks running up the sides.

Each legging includes an integrated webbing strap and metal buckle at the bottom edge for securing under a boot.

Interior is stamped with size 3, GREGORY & READ CO., contract number NXSX-24662, and date 3/12/43.

One interior panel also carries a vertical stenciled service name opposite the contract markings.
